The case for Human Rights
For Human Rights Day 2011, Michael Wiener composed a choir piece based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which was performed in the Palais des Nations by members of the United Nations Music Club. In the Universal Song of Human Rights, Michael Wiener has transposed excerpts from the Declaration in different languages into music.
He accompanied the choir ensemble on a piano lent by the UN Music Club.

In addition, Idalina Cappe de Baillon sang Vissi d’Arte from Puccini’s La Tosca and the Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen, accompanied by Michael Wiener on the piano.
